The goal of Friends of Marquette Park Fund (FMP) is to raise funds to support and implement special projects for Marquette Park in collaboration with the City of Gary Parks Department. This is a Field of Interest Non-Permanent Fund Agreement between the Legacy Foundation, Inc., and Miller Citizens Corporation Shoreline Committee. The leadership group decides what special park projects we want to support. The leadership group consists of the seven members.
In 2016, our financial goal to reach 100 Charter Memberships within one year was accomplished. By December of 2016, we surpassed our goal with 106 Charter Members.
