Public Art in the Park -

In June 2022, we will have two large sculptures in Marquette Park titled “Tall Ship” and “Here”. We are leasing the sculptures through Chicago Sculpture International for two years.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Friends of Marquette Park, Miller Garden Club and Miller Beach and Creative Arts District formed Miller Public Art Committee (MPAC) to bring cultural experiences to Marquette Park and Lake Street. We are grateful to Pat Lee, Lee Construction for installing the concrete pads for the sculpture. Donations designated for Public Art will help keep this project going for years to come. MPAC is exploring other ways to bring public art to our community.

Disc Golf:

We will have Disc Golf Demos on a temporary course in the month of June as we seek approval for the Park Board of Commissioners for a permanent course to be installed within the next year. Watch for more updates on Disc Golf.
